About the position

The Engineering Project Manager at Hoffman Hydronics is responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of service, and coordinating project schedules. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to understand technical concepts, as well as a commitment to the company's core values. The position involves working closely with customers, sales engineers, and manufacturers to facilitate seamless product delivery and resolve any issues that arise.

Responsibilities

  • Manage collective accounts and provide high levels of customer service in a timely manner.
  • Keep up-to-date information on jobs and competitive market pricing.
  • Develop technical depth and understanding of company products and applications.
  • Manage the order entry process and coordinate deliveries with customers, including returns and warranties.
  • Act as the first responder for customer inquiries regarding products or services.
  • Ensure timely and accurate ordering of products upon receipt of approved submittals.
  • Process and enter sales orders and quotations into CRM (Netsuite).
  • Utilize industry databases to research and find upcoming jobs to bid.
  • Maintain project schedules in the quote/project management system.
  • Develop Installation Operations and Maintenance Manuals for customers.
  • Work closely with manufacturers to resolve issues and coordinate equipment start-up.
  • Remain knowledgeable on products and technologies represented by HTS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (Inside Sales/Account Executive/Product Management).
  • 2 or more years of experience in the HVAC industry preferred but not required.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Marketing / Project Management.
