About the position

The Engineering Project Manager will lead the design and production processes of custom tools, molds, patterns, and components across various industries including aerospace, automotive, and construction. This role focuses on delivering quality products on time and within budget while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead key processes from design through complete production of custom tools and components.
• Ensure quality products are delivered on-time and under budget.
• Maintain proven processes and procedures for customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with Customers, Sales Engineers, and Product Realization Teams to develop project plans.
• Analyze and evaluate data to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Negotiate and coordinate purchases and external services for project delivery.

Requirements

• Experience in engineering project management with a focus on tool building.
• Strong understanding of requirements for the casting industry.
• Proficiency in evaluating 3D designs using software such as SolidWorks, CREO, NX, or CATIA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Affiliation to AFS and/or NADCA is preferred.
• Degree from a college or technical school, or equivalent work experience.
