About the position

The Engineering Project Manager will lead key processes from design through to the complete production of custom tools, molds, patterns, and componentry across various industries including aerospace, automotive, and construction. This role focuses on delivering quality products on time and under budget while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and production processes for custom tools and molds.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with customers, sales engineers, and product realization teams to develop project plans.
• Analyze and evaluate data to ensure proven results in project delivery.
• Negotiate and coordinate purchases and external processes to meet project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in tool building and understanding of casting industry requirements.
• Proficiency in evaluating 3D designs using software such as SolidWorks, CREO, NX, or CATIA.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Affiliation with AFS and/or NADCA is preferred.
