About the position

The Engineering Project Manager at TRE & Associates, LLC will oversee the design and permitting of water and wastewater plants, as well as drainage infrastructure and land development projects. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects meet regulatory compliance and are constructed effectively, while also managing engineering staff and providing technical support across the firm.

Responsibilities

• Management and scheduling of engineering staff for design production related to water/wastewater/drainage projects and land development design
• Firm-wide technical support for design related issues to ensure sizing, regulatory compliance, and constructability
• Assistance with preparation of project specifications for construction documents
• Overseeing design and permitting of water and wastewater systems, water distribution, wastewater collection, drainage systems, site grading, and roadway design

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Professional Engineering License required (Texas registration preferred)
• 3 - 5+ years of experience with water/wastewater infrastructure or land development design
• Familiarity with construction contract documentation and administration
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to drive a full size pick-up truck
• Ability to walk and stand at construction site for extended periods of time (4 hrs+)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
