About the position

The Engineering Project Manager will join the iPhone Activation team at Apple, focusing on a critical project aimed at enhancing the security and efficiency of iPhone product activation. This role involves collaboration with internal development teams, sales organizations, and external reseller partners to prevent theft of devices during transit. The position requires coordination across multiple scrum teams and optimization of processes to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efforts across multiple scrum teams to ensure project success.
• Optimize processes for efficiency in iPhone activation.
• Collaborate with internal development teams, sales organizations, and external reseller partners.
• Drive day-to-day tracking and streamline workflows for the project.
• Enhance coordination across the backend iOS activation team.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Engineering Project Management experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to drive project initiatives from concept to completion in dynamic environments.
• Familiarity with SDLC processes and external API management.
• Experience working closely with development and QA teams, focusing on backend systems and external API integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and take initiative.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience with iPhone activation or mobile product deployment projects.
• Knowledge of theft-prevention and security protocols related to logistics.
