About the position

The Engineering Project Manager at E Tech Group is responsible for leading large-scale projects or multiple project efforts within various industries, including Life Sciences and Food & Beverage. This role involves managing the design, procurement, implementation, and commissioning phases of projects, ensuring commercial, financial, and technical success. The Project Manager will develop project proposals, maintain client communication, and oversee project schedules and budgets to exceed client expectations and achieve profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal development including scope, schedule, and cost estimates.
• Manage client communication throughout all project phases.
• Develop project labor resource and procurement plans to meet client objectives.
• Maintain control of project scope and compliance with specifications and contract requirements.
• Develop and maintain project cost budgets and reports, managing estimated costs and avoiding overruns.
• Lead the project team to achieve tasks and milestones on schedule and under budget.

Requirements

• BS Engineering degree or equivalent education/experience background.
• 5+ years in project engineering environment with at least 3 years of dedicated project management experience.
• Proficient in project management principles, methods, and tools.
• Ability to implement Project Management Institute (PMI) based standards.
• Experience managing contracts and/or subcontractors.
• Familiarity with industrial controls projects.
• Experience with project budget and fiscal accountability.

Nice-to-haves

• Controls Engineering background.
• Experience with true design projects (EOR).
• Experienced in the use of project management software such as MS Project.
• Food and Beverage experience.
• Experience managing control system, HMI, plant data historian, and other industrial projects.
