About the position
The Engineering Quality Technician will support engineering efforts within the company, focusing on day-to-day operations while gaining in-depth knowledge of ball manufacturing, damage detection, and inspection methods. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest standards of quality in manufacturing processes and involves analyzing and maintaining quality assurance systems.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations in engineering efforts.
- Gain a detailed understanding of ball manufacturing processes.
- Operate mechanical inspection machines, including Aviko Scanning and roller sorters.
- Manage vibratory bowl drying operations to meet production goals.
- Submit at least one continuous improvement idea every six months.
Requirements
- Entry level Engineer or Engineering Technology degree, or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to multitask and maintain progress on multiple responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) is a must.
- Experience with ISO-9001:2015 Quality Management System is a plus.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with CAD or other drafting programs.
- In-depth knowledge of ball manufacturing is a plus.
