About the position

The Associate position in ServiceNow Engineering at Goldman Sachs focuses on designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The role is part of the Production Runtime Experience team within Enterprise Technology Operations, which aims to enhance operational excellence through automation and data science. The Associate will collaborate with implementation partners and contribute to various ServiceNow modules, ensuring effective integration and application of best practices in software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, Service Portal, CSM, HRSD, Security Operations, GRC/IRM.
• Develop solutions leveraging Analytics Intelligence and Reporting, Customer Service Management, HR Service Delivery, and IT Service Management.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in the Now Platform, including Contextual Search, Data Management, and User/Group administration.
• Design and build integrations and custom applications using Now Platform App Engine capabilities, adhering to strong SDLC practices.
• Expertise in IT Asset Management Lifecycle processes and Configuration Management processes using Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• Define and interpret data models and query SQL databases.
• Partner with ServiceNow Implementation partners to design and develop business solutions.
• Create and maintain Platform implementation roadmaps and assist with detailed design and implementation approaches.
• Coordinate data collection and integrate with GS On-prem and GS Cloud applications.
• Assist Product Owners in story writing, backlog maintenance, and prioritization.
• Use metrics and data visualization to report progress and support data-driven decision making.
• Facilitate estimation and planning at the team or program level.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and experience in the Now Platform and its capabilities.
• Expertise in IT Asset Management Lifecycle processes and Configuration Management processes.
• Experience with SQL databases and data modeling.
• Ability to design and build integrations and custom applications using ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
• Familiarity with infrastructure technologies used in service delivery from a Data Center.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Familiarity with machine learning applications in production management.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
