About The Position
The Engineering Tech I-II/Hot-Mix Testing Technician position is responsible for conducting Quality Assurance testing on materials used in state and federally funded construction projects. The role primarily involves sampling and testing bituminous concrete, as well as other materials like Portland cement concrete, soil, and aggregate, ensuring compliance with construction plans and specifications. Strong mathematical skills are essential, and the technician may need to work in various weather conditions and lift materials up to 50lbs. Overtime work may be required as needed.
