About the position

As an Engineering Technician VI at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in supporting the US Navy by troubleshooting, repairing, and assessing shipboard IC/Navigation systems. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and assess shipboard IC/Navigation systems.
• Ensure the functionality and reliability of navigation systems on naval vessels.
• Collaborate with team members to support the Department of Defense's mission.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of shipboard IC/Navigation systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and assessing shipboard IC/Navigation systems.
• Hands-on experience with WSN-7 RLGN, IBS/Integrated Bridge Navigation System, Voyage Management System, AN/SSN-6 Navigation Sensor System Interface, Global Positioning System Based Positioning, Navigation Critical Distribution System, and Ships Control System Government.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Completion of classroom training for Navigation Systems Maintenance Technician NEC.
