About The Position
The Engineering Technician will be responsible for various job functions essential to the position. Regular attendance and punctuality are crucial for success. The individual should be able to perform these essential functions with or without requested reasonable accommodations. The role involves providing training support to manufacturing associates, assisting in developing time standards for processes, preparing project proposals, reports, and presentations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Additionally, the technician will conduct research on product design specifications, troubleshoot technical issues, read technical drawings, and set up machines accordingly. The position also requires the development of Rework Orders, evaluation of existing designs, proposing modifications to equipment, and creating design plans and testing standards. The technician will perform various tests as directed by the engineering manager and promote adherence to company HSE policies and quality standards.
