About the position

MSA has an opportunity for a full time Engineering Technician - Civil at our Rice Lake, WI or Marshfield, WI office. You will have the opportunity to see, and contribute in, projects from start to finish. The various projects you'll be working on make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve. This person will work on a wide variety of projects including construction, WisDOT, and site and grading improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize primarily AutoCAD C3D CAD software to perform detailed drafting and design of civil and transportation projects including plan preparation
  • Work on a Team to develop and QA Civil Engineering Plan Sets
  • Primarily in the field from April - October annually
  • Ability to prioritize workflow and keep project schedules
  • Miscellaneous office and technology tasks as necessary
  • Stay current on latest CAD technology and trends

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related degree preferred
  • Prior CAD drafting experience preferred
  • Ability to work in the field required
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
  • Ability to work in a consulting environment on a Team setting
