Responsibilities

• Serve as an engineering technician with emphasis on electrical and mechanical aspects of practical engineering.
• Perform duties requiring practical engineering skills for Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair projects.
• Develop plans, designs, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for a variety of projects.
• Provide technical engineering guidance and assistance on assigned projects.
• Serve as Contracting Officer Representative with responsibility for field and office engineering management and surveillance of contract construction.

Requirements

• One year of specialized experience in engineering technician roles, particularly in electrical equipment maintenance and SRM projects.
• Working knowledge of methods and techniques of operation and maintenance of electrical distribution systems and controls.
• Ability to investigate, analyze, and resolve problems related to design, installation, maintenance, operation, or repair of assigned projects.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with electronics and utility systems.
