About the position
The Engineering Technician I - Civil/Structural Co-Op position at Fluor is designed for an engineering intern to contribute to a medium-sized, diverse task force. The role requires a solid understanding of engineering principles and the ability to work across multiple disciplines, focusing on various engineering assignments and documentation processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering assignments including space planning, mobilizations, action items, producing data sheets, and drafting engineering specifications and standards.
- Track status on engineering progress.
- Generate and process forms for the distribution of electronic engineering documents.
- Establish and apply documentation standards for Flow Diagram Change Notices (FDCN) workflow procedures.
- Develop logs to track project deviations.
- Assist with progress reporting via EZTrac and preparation of weekly and monthly status reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of an individual engineering discipline.
- General knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines.
