The Engineering Technician I position within the Department of Public Works is a full-time role that plays a crucial part in coordinating and conducting para-professional design and administrative activities for various city improvement projects. This position is essential for ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and meet the necessary standards. The technician will be involved in drafting a variety of engineering drawings, including preliminary, base, construction, and presentation drawings for storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water systems, paving, grading, and development plans.
