Five Rivers Analytics (FRA), an Akima company, is seeking an Engineering Technician I to join our multi-functional team providing Technical Support Services to the Federal Aviation Administration Logistic Center (FAALC) at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center Logistic Center in Oklahoma City, OK. This position is crucial in ensuring that electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment meets the necessary serviceability, reliability, and availability requirements. The Engineering Technician will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and refurbishing equipment, components, test fixtures, and prototypes, as well as performing equipment performance analyses and data collection and reporting. The role also involves installing equipment and modifications in accordance with applicable FAA and FAALC standards, orders, technical instructions, and quality procedures. In this role, you will work under the functional and operational supervision of the Shop Lead and/or Technical Manager/Project Manager. Your responsibilities will include assembling and repairing electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, subsystems, and components. This may require a combination of design, fabrication, and construction functions for items such as power and signal cables, circuit boards, and engineering prototypes. You will also be tasked with completing applicable adjustment, testing, and certification processes on all items assembled or repaired, ensuring compliance with technical documentation and standards. Additionally, you will perform equipment and component performance analyses to determine operating characteristics and parameters, aiding in fault isolation and identification. This includes collecting and recording appropriate engineering data to document results and presenting a variety of systems data and logistics support information obtained from various sources. The position requires a dedication to quality work and a strong work ethic, as well as the ability to work at heights and operate various equipment such as boom man lifts and motorized forklifts. The role involves travel up to 75%, reflecting the dynamic nature of the work and the need for flexibility in various environments.
