About the position

The Engineering Technician/Server Rack Technician position involves assembling server rack products in a production line and conducting on-site rack integration activities at customer data centers. This role requires travel, primarily within the United States, for 1-2 weeks at a time. The technician will employ high standards of assembly work to ensure that high-quality products are produced on schedule. Following standard operating procedures and schedules is essential to meet daily demands, and the technician will perform in-process inspections to ensure that products meet specifications and standards. Maintaining an organized and safe work environment is crucial, as is the ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction. The technician will also adhere to the company's policies and procedures and perform other integration assembly duties as directed by the supervisor. This position requires a full range of tasks and correspondence as needed, making it vital for the candidate to be self-motivated and a team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble server rack products in a production line

Requirements

  • High school or college diploma preferred
  • Minimum 1 year in electronic or computer industry preferred
  • Prior experience with computer assembly preferred
  • Must be able to read and understand assembly instructions, production orders, and all other documentation used to control processes
  • Must be able to lift and install heavy rack
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
  • Candidate must be ok with traveling out of state as per company needs
  • Candidate should be ok with overtime as needed
