About The Position
The Engineering Technician will serve in the Public Works Department of the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic, primarily focused on supporting construction projects at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Africa. This is a full-time temporary position with a travel requirement of 76% or greater, and it is expected to last no more than one year. The role involves preparing technical specifications, reviewing shop drawings, and participating in technical reviews for construction contracts.
