About the position

The technician will be responsible for creating blueprints, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality products tailored to client specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, and document detailed and accurate blueprint drawings for custom-built electrical panel boards and switchgear.
  • Assist with the assembly of custom electrical panel boards and switchgear, ensuring alignment with blueprints and quality standards.
  • Ensure all designs and assemblies comply with industry standards, including NEMA 1, NEMA 3R, and UL 891.
  • Collaborate with technicians and engineers to troubleshoot issues and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues during the design and assembly process.

Requirements

  • Engineering or similar degree preferred, or proven experience in an engineering technician role.
  • Strong skills in reading, creating, and interpreting blueprints.
  • Familiarity with NEMA 1 and NEMA 3R standards and UL 891.
  • Problem-solving ability with attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented attitude.
