As an Engineering Technician, you will be a critical piece of a nimble and innovative team finding creative design solutions to customer problems in both the airborne and ruggedized ground-support spaces. You will partner with talented mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and software engineers in a culture of fast-paced innovation.

Responsibilities

• Building and reworking prototypes of complex electronic assembles
• Creating production work instructions
• Ordering parts
• Programming and operating pick-and-place machine for PCB assembly
• Mechanical assembly and rework
• Operating laboratory test and measurement equipment such as power supplies, multi-meters, and oscilloscopes
• Lead organization and maintaining cleanliness of laboratory

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as Technician – either in production or design environment
• Skilled in soldering printed circuit board and cable assemblies
• Able to read complex drawings and schematics
• Experience with hands on assembly and fabrication
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to lift 80 lbs
• Familiarity with Electronics Manufacturing IPC Standards preferred
• Experience in building PCB assembly with pick-and-place machine preferred
• Experience with CNC machining or laser cutting preferred
• Experience with Labview or other test automation preferred
