About the position

The Solution Specialist for Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) at Oracle serves as a sales product and process expert, focusing on the EPM suite to drive sales cycles and build executive relationships within the c-suite. This role encompasses the entire sales process, from business development to closing transactions, while partnering with various sales representatives to qualify and close new business opportunities. The position targets Oracle's Enterprise Accounts, particularly within the Distribution Industry, and requires a deep understanding of finance functions and EPM-related best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and convert net new and expansion revenue for Oracle Enterprise Performance Management.
  • Create and drive business value propositions with customers.
  • Become a 'trusted advisor' in finance and accounting line of business within accounts.
  • Work closely with the team to plan and complete a winning strategy for Oracle EPM in the industry.
  • Create pipeline and demand by using sales campaigns and events.
  • Progress existing pipeline from discovery to vendor of choice by adding EPM subject matter expertise to the sales process.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of industry dynamics and terminology.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, particularly in Enterprise Performance Management solutions.
  • Deep understanding of finance functions and EPM-related best practices.
  • Ability to develop value-based selling messages and engage with line of business executives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Distribution Industry.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud EPM solutions.
