The Engineering Technician at Burke Aerospace plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of the engineering and production teams. The Engineering Technician will work closely with both the Engineering and Production departments, leveraging their technical skills to support daily operations and maintenance activities. In this position, the Engineering Technician will manage all maintenance activities according to the machine manufacturer's recommendations, which include daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly actions. They will develop and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule, ensuring that all maintenance items are inventoried and organized. The technician will also be responsible for supporting and resolving any equipment issues that may arise during production, managing external machine support tickets, and providing assistance to operators with setups, part quality, and production rates. Additionally, the Engineering Technician will assist in the development of new product implementations and troubleshoot equipment and process issues as they arise. They will support continuous improvement initiatives, working collaboratively with team members to develop solutions and communicate effectively about project and maintenance needs.
