About the position

Peraton is focused on the Countering Advance Conventional Weapons (CACW) mission, which brings highly skilled technical professionals to the forefront of our nation's defense. The company is seeking individuals for various engineering and analytical roles, including Modeling & Simulation Engineer, Propulsion Engineer, Systems Integrator, Database Engineer, and Test Engineer/Analyst. These positions are critical in conducting research, analysis, reverse engineering, and other disciplines that contribute to national security. Employees in these roles will engage in complex problem-solving and innovative thinking to address the challenges posed by advanced conventional weapons. As part of the CACW mission, team members will work collaboratively to develop and implement solutions that enhance the capabilities of the U.S. armed forces. This includes leveraging expertise in ballistic missile systems, air defense systems, radar technology, and various intelligence disciplines such as SIGINT, OSINT, and HUMINT. Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis related to advanced conventional weapons.
  • Engage in reverse engineering of defense systems.
  • Develop and implement modeling and simulation techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance national security capabilities.
  • Utilize expertise in ballistic missile systems and air defense systems.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of radar technology and intelligence disciplines.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience with a BS/BA; 3 years with an MS/MA; 0 years with a PhD.
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph examination.
  • Work experience in ballistic missile systems (SRBM, CRBM).
  • Experience with air defense systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of radar technology.
  • Experience with SIGINT, OSINT, HUMINT, and C4 systems.
