About the position

The English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher position is a full-time, onsite role located in Dongnae, Busan, South Korea. The teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans for young learners in a kindergarten and elementary school setting. This position requires fostering a positive classroom environment and collaborating with parents and staff to support students' educational needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored for young learners in an ESL environment.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and communication.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing individualized support as needed.
• Collaborate with parents and staff to support students' educational needs.
• Utilize technology and educational resources to enhance learning experiences.
• Maintain classroom organization and manage time effectively to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

• Qualified English speakers from New Zealand, USA, Canada, Australia, or the UK.
• Passion for working with young learners.
• Teaching experience is a plus but not required.

• Ability to commute to San Francisco, CA 94104 (preferred)
• Ability to relocate to San Francisco, CA 94104 before starting work (preferred)
