About the position
Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking skilled Spanish Bilingual Interpreters for remote work opportunities. This position involves interpreting high volume inbound calls, providing essential communication support for various industries including Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial, Travel & Hospitality, and other government entities. The role is designed for individuals who are fluent in both Spanish and English and can handle telephone calls on demand from a quiet home office environment. The position offers a long-term contract at a rate of $15 per hour, along with three weeks of paid training to ensure interpreters are well-prepared for their responsibilities. As a remote interpreter, you will be responsible for translating conversations that may range from simple to complex or technical. Video interpreting will also be a part of the job, requiring candidates to be comfortable on camera. The ideal candidate should be able to work a minimum of 30 hours a week and possess manual dexterity for typing or writing notes. While previous experience is not mandatory, education or work experience in teaching or translation is considered an asset. The role requires a dedicated workspace, high-speed internet connection, and the use of a personal iPhone or Android phone for work-related communications. This position is not only about providing language services but also about helping others in the community connect meaningfully. Candidates must be available for Monday shifts and should be prepared for a dynamic work environment that includes both telephone and video interpreting.
