About the position

The English Spanish Japanese Trilingual Sales Account Representative is responsible for increasing profits by achieving sales targets and managing customer accounts. This role involves communicating with current and potential distributors and customers, analyzing sales trends, and developing proactive sales methods. The representative will also perform marketing functions and represent the company at trade shows and other events.

Responsibilities

  • Increase profits by achieving sales targets and operating within budgetary guidelines.
  • Communicate with or visit current and potential distributors and customers to increase sales.
  • Analyze sales trends and operating efficiency to maximize profit.
  • Research and identify potential customers and develop proactive sales methods.
  • Develop new business opportunities at trade shows, distributors, and industry events.
  • Manage and expand customer accounts by contacting customers and distributors regularly.
  • Follow up on past-due accounts to ensure all collections are completed.
  • Provide price quotes, proposals, and credit terms to current and prospective customers.
  • Make presentations about products and identify customer needs or problems in a timely manner.
  • Perform marketing functions by following up on all product sales leads and inquiries.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and other events.

Requirements

  • Business level fluency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Conversational level Japanese.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university.
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 year of B2B sales experience (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel (25% preferred).
