About the position
Language Trainers is seeking a freelance English language teacher to provide general English tuition to a group of four adult learners in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and English, possess teaching qualifications, and have relevant teaching experience. Classes will be held at the client's office, with a flexible schedule based on availability.
Responsibilities
- Conduct 20 hours of English language classes (10 sessions of 2 hours each) for beginner/elementary level students.
- Prepare lesson plans tailored to the needs of adult learners.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Communicate effectively with students to enhance their language skills for work-related purposes.
Requirements
- Native English/Spanish speaker or hold a teaching degree.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid working visa.
- Reside within 20 miles of the client's location.
