About the position
Language Trainers is seeking a freelance English language teacher who is bilingual in Spanish and English to provide general English tuition to a group of four adult learners in Louisville, KY. The role involves teaching beginner/elementary level English to employees who need to improve their communication skills for work-related travel. Classes will be held at the client's office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a total of 20 hours of instruction over 10 lessons.
Responsibilities
- Conduct English language classes for a group of four adult learners.
- Prepare lesson plans tailored to the needs of beginner/elementary level students.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Communicate effectively with students to enhance their learning experience.
Requirements
- Native English/Spanish speaker or hold a teaching degree.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid working visa.
- Reside within 20 miles of the client's location.
