About the position
The Sylvan Learning Centers of Minnetonka and Chaska are seeking English instructors to provide online courses or in-center tutoring. Instructors will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and will have the flexibility to teach from their location, focusing on personalized instruction without the need for lesson planning.
Responsibilities
- Create unique and fun learning environment
- Ensure students are picking up on proper grammar, writing, and reading comprehension
- Complete certification training on each Sylvan program taught to students
- When applicable, ensure students are prepared for the reading and writing sections of the ACT/SAT exams.
Requirements
- Licensed teaching degree is required
- Current or expired license is acceptable
