Engraver/Sandblaster

About the position

The Engraver/Sandblaster position at Blazing Lazer Art & Engraving LLC involves working with laser engraving and sandblasting equipment to create custom engravings on various materials. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to handle fragile items carefully. The position is based in San Antonio, TX, and offers a pay range of $12.71 to $15.71 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CorelDraw to engrave onto various materials such as cups, acrylic, and wood.
• Prepare items for shipment.
• Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise.
• Box, wrap, and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards.
• Report any impaired or damaged merchandise items.

Requirements

• Previous engraving experience is preferred.
• Experience with laser engravers and direct pressure sandblasting equipment is preferred.
• Computer skills, particularly in CorelDraw, Excel, and QuickBooks, are preferred.
• Great physical stamina and manual dexterity, with the ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Team player with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Windows operating system.
• Familiarity with the use and operation of air compressors and pneumatic tools.
