As a member of our Legacy Team, you will play a vital role in leading and inspiring our residents through various activities designed to enhance their quality of life. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, allowing you to choose a schedule that fits your lifestyle while contributing to a vibrant community. In this role, you will be responsible for leading small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in our award-winning therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness programs. You will prepare materials and conduct relevant research to confidently lead engaging memory enrichment activities. Additionally, you will assist with cognitive assessments, track and trend resident participation, and maintain compliance-related documentation. Responsibilities

  • Leading small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness programs.
  • Preparing materials and conducting relevant research for engaging memory enrichment activities.
  • Assisting with cognitive assessments and tracking resident participation.
  • Maintaining compliance-related documentation.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or a related field of study.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work the defined schedule for this position, which may include weekends.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Prior hands-on experience leading senior adults in activities within an Assisted Living or Memory Care community.
  • Described by colleagues as dependable, adaptable, and compassionate.
