About the position

The Enrichment Aide at Lakewood Health System plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents through engaging activities and compassionate care. This part-time position focuses on creating meaningful experiences that nurture the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of residents, while also providing direct care support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance the quality of day-to-day life for residents.
• Create and organize engaging activities and programs for residents.
• Assist with transfers and personal care as part of daily activity programs.
• Fill in for other activity staff during vacations or illness.
• Work extra hours on special occasions as needed.

Requirements

• At least grade school education, preferably a high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a State of Minnesota approved Nursing Assistant Program Test Out within 4 months of hire.
• Experience in geriatrics is desirable.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Computer knowledge is necessary.
• CPR certification is required.
