About the position
The Community Enrichment Specialist position at TSE, Inc. is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. This role involves supporting higher-needs individuals through community integration activities, direct care, and daily programming. The position offers a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, with no evening, weekend, or holiday shifts, making it ideal for those seeking a stable work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Support higher-needs adults with developmental disabilities through community integration activities.
- Supervise individuals while in the community and research opportunities for volunteering.
- Set up tours and visits within the community and match individuals' strengths to volunteer opportunities.
- Provide direct care, including assistance with meals, escorting, and toileting.
- Deliver 1:1 support and daily programming activities such as arts & crafts and cooking groups.
- Manage cases for approximately 8 persons served and provide transportation as needed using the TSE van.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm and creativity are essential.
- High School Diploma or higher is required.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record is mandatory.
- Ability to pass a DHS background study is required.

- Experience in social services or related fields is preferred.
