About the position

Allure Accounting is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Enrolled Agent or CPA for a part-time remote position. The role focuses on communication with IRS and State Agencies regarding taxes, requiring efficient and organized work under time pressure in a multicultural environment. The position allows for flexible scheduling, with expected hours ranging from 4 to 12 per week.

Responsibilities

• Correspondence and phone calls with IRS and state agencies.
• Reviewing tax returns.

Requirements

• Licensed Enrolled Agent or CPA
• 2 years' experience in tax return preparation/tax preparer
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, ProSeries, UltraTax, the use of online tax filing sites)

Nice-to-haves

• German speaking is a plus
• Associate's degree (Preferred)
