The Enrolled Agent at Diamond Financial Group will provide exceptional tax services to clients, helping them navigate complex tax situations and achieve their financial goals. This role involves representing clients before the IRS, developing customized tax strategies, and offering ongoing advice to adapt to changing tax laws and financial circumstances. The position emphasizes building strong relationships with clients based on trust and transparency, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their tax planning and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws.
  • Representing clients before the IRS in audits, collections, and appeals.
  • Providing tax planning and advisory services to optimize clients' financial situations and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Conducting thorough financial and tax analyses to assess clients' current tax situations.
  • Staying up-to-date with tax law changes, IRS regulations, and other relevant compliance requirements.
  • Collaborating with other financial professionals, such as accountants and financial advisors, to provide comprehensive tax solutions.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure long-term success and trust.

Requirements

  • Enrolled Agent (EA) Certification required.
  • 3+ years of experience in tax preparation and tax representation, with a strong understanding of individual and business tax laws.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and reporting tools (e.g., ProConnect, Lacerte, or similar).
  • Advanced computer and technology skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts simply.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong networking abilities to cultivate and expand client relationships.
