Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Enrollment Operations, the Enrollment Assistant is responsible for all aspects of the admissions application file processing in support of the Strategic Enrollment Management enrollment goals. The Enrollment Assistant works in multiple databases and systems to accurately and efficiently achieve processing and communication goals within established deadlines. This role is crucial in ensuring that the admissions process runs smoothly and that all applicants receive timely and accurate information regarding their application status. The Enrollment Assistant will be expected to maintain a high-level working knowledge of procedures and systems, ensuring that all admissions applications are processed from submission through to permanent file creation. This includes creating and managing application files using various databases and systems, as well as providing information and guidance to students and staff regarding admission policies and procedures. The position also requires maintaining data quality to meet AACRAO guidelines, FERPA regulations, and Regis University standards and policies. Additionally, the Enrollment Assistant will develop and maintain admissions-related files and forms, which include confidential information, and communicate with staff and applicants regarding application file requirements and status. The role involves critical thinking and independent decision-making, with an emphasis on looking for opportunities to improve processes and seeking input from the supervisor when appropriate. Errors in processing can significantly impact the department's ability to serve students, staff, and faculty, making attention to detail and adherence to regulations essential.
