About the position

The Enrollment Consultant position at Francis Tuttle Technology Center involves providing course and program information, as well as enrollment services to prospective students. The role requires accurate data entry, customer service, and collaboration with internal departments to facilitate student enrollment and maintain records. The consultant will also assist with financial aid referrals and prepare reports as needed, all while embodying the core values of the institution.

Responsibilities

• Provide course and program information to customers via walk-ins, calls, or the website.
• Process student applications, enrollments, and status changes using Prodigy.
• Maintain accuracy of student data files in Prodigy.
• Assist with correspondence to students regarding their application or enrollment status.
• Enroll customers in open enrollment courses as requested.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve questions satisfactorily.
• Process tuition payments and reconciliation forms daily.
• Refer customers to financial aid or career advisors when necessary.
• Prepare reports as needed and maintain confidentiality of student records.
• Assist with new student orientation and serve as backup to receptionist and administrative assistant.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience required.
• Excellent computer keyboarding and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage an efficient office area.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment and prioritize tasks.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to deliver superior customer service.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Prodigy or similar student information systems.
• Knowledge of financial aid processes.
