About The Position

The role involves recommending improvements and efficiencies in communication strategies, managing web tools, and overseeing prospective applicant and current student data to enhance the effectiveness of enrollment communications. In this position, the specialist will develop, organize, and edit content for various platforms, including print, digital, social media, email, and web publications. This includes writing, editing, and proofreading materials to ensure accuracy and timeliness. The specialist will collaborate with campus partners and vendors to design publications and will monitor and adjust content on enrollment-related websites. Additionally, the specialist will create and maintain a comprehensive communication plan that addresses the needs of multiple programs and timelines, manage enrollment dashboards, and develop systematic processes for effective communication with prospective and newly admitted students. The Enrollment Management Communications Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining all enrollment-related website content and ensuring compliance with CSU standards. This includes updating information on enrollment events, student support services, and other relevant content. The specialist will stay informed about trends in social media and online behavior to enhance the university's online presence and engagement strategies. Furthermore, the role involves managing various email accounts related to enrollment management and facilitating marketing outreach functions to support enrollment goals. The specialist will contribute to departmental program reviews, annual reports, and strategic planning, and will attend seminars and conferences for professional development.
