About the position

The Enrollment Specialist will manage the enrollment process for Georgia Medicare and Medicaid programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines. This role involves utilizing the Georgia Medicaid Management Information System (GAMMIS) to track and manage enrollment activities, reviewing documents for accuracy, and maintaining communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the enrollment process for Georgia Medicare and Medicaid programs.
  • Utilize the Georgia Medicaid Management Information System (GAMMIS) to complete, track, and manage enrollment activities.
  • Review and verify all documents for accuracy and completeness before submission.
  • Submit detailed applications with precision to avoid errors and delays.
  • Maintain effective and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide timely updates on application statuses and proactively resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Demonstrate patience and professionalism when addressing complex enrollment situations.
  • Take accountability for meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work standards.
  • Adapt to new responsibilities and processes as the role evolves.

Requirements

  • Experience with Medicaid and Medicare programs.
  • Proficiency in using GAMMIS.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.

Nice-to-haves
