About the position

The Entenmanns Marketing Co-Op program at Bimbo Bakeries USA offers a unique 5-month internship opportunity for students to engage in real-world marketing projects. This program is designed to enhance strategic project management, analytical problem-solving, and managerial leadership skills. Interns will work closely with designated mentors who will guide them through collaborative projects across various marketing functions. The role involves supporting the Brand Manager in executing marketing plans and initiatives for the 2025-2026 product line. Interns will participate in cross-functional meetings and maintain communication with Sales, Operations, and external agencies regarding marketing programs. Interns will also be responsible for coordinating online consumer promotion efforts, which include managing monthly social media calendars, website content, and email communications. They will monitor and report on the results of these programs, providing insights and recommendations for future promotions. Additionally, interns will develop and train on analytical tools such as Margin Minder and IRI to facilitate reporting. Other responsibilities include coupon development, competitive media tracking, and compiling consumer feedback from various bakeries. The role requires a proactive approach, as interns will act as passionate advocates for the brand, supporting the Brand Manager with various projects, including presentation preparation and coordination of trade shows and sampling events.

Responsibilities

  • Support Brand Manager in day-to-day cross-functional meetings and communication with Sales, Operations, and outside agencies about marketing programs.
  • Assist in Key 2025-2026 Product Initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Brand Team to align messaging and creativity with strategic brand positioning.
  • Participate in and help coordinate the implementation of online consumer promotion efforts, including monthly social media calendars, website, and email consumer communications.
  • Monitor and report on program results, making recommendations for future promotions.
  • Develop and train on analytical tools (Margin Minder, IRI) to facilitate report outs.
  • Assist in coupon development and tracking.
  • Conduct competitive tracking for traditional media and report findings to the team.
  • Compile weekly consumer feedback by bakery.
  • Support the Brand Manager on miscellaneous projects including presentation preparation, coordination of sampling, premiums, trade shows, etc.
  • Act as a passionate advocate for the Brand.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree Program in Marketing, Communications, or a related major.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to initiate and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to generate business insights from diverse data sources.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and juggle several projects at once.
  • Self-motivation and a desire to learn about the industry.
