About the position

The Enterprise Account Executive for Education at Salesforce is responsible for engaging with existing customers and new leads to sell the Salesforce Customer 360 platform, specifically targeting the Higher Education sector. This role involves building trusted relationships with key stakeholders, developing long-term strategies aligned with customer objectives, and driving growth within assigned accounts. The position offers personalized training and career opportunities within a fast-paced team focused on strategic customers generating significant revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with existing customers and new leads to sell the Salesforce Customer 360 platform.
  • Build positive, trusted relationships with key team members and c-suite decision makers.
  • Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts.
  • Develop and drive the overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives.
  • Coordinate internal Salesforce resources to meet customer business needs.
  • Perform account planning at assigned accounts, ensuring strategic alignment with Prime and Cloud sales resources.
  • Share Salesforce value proposition for existing and/or new customers.
  • Drive growth within an existing assigned account.

Requirements

  • 10 years of full cycle sales experience, with at least 5 years in Enterprise Sales.
  • Experience working in SLED, specifically Higher Ed.
  • Management of multiple large key accounts.
  • Ability to strategize with a large extended team.
  • Experience evaluated based on core competencies for the role.
