About the position

The Enterprise Account Executive for the Southeast Region at Connection is a pivotal role focused on connecting clients with technology solutions. This position involves working closely with a team of experts to provide IT hardware, software, and professional services to enterprise accounts. The role emphasizes building strong relationships with clients and leveraging existing partnerships with major technology manufacturers to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with enterprise accounts in the Southeast region.
  • Collaborate with Onboarding Inside Account Managers and Client Operations Team to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Work with the Professional Services team to provide technical expertise and consulting throughout technology projects.
  • Consult with clients on licensing issues, deployment, and ROI with software experts.
  • Utilize the TRAXX E-procurement system to streamline IT procurement for clients.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in selling IT hardware, software, and professional services to enterprise accounts.
  • Proven track record of achieving strong sales numbers in enterprise accounts.
  • Self-motivated with a drive for performance-based compensation.
  • Knowledge of major OEM product lines and current technologies.
  • Strong existing relationships with local OEM field sales teams of strategic suppliers.
  • Experience in selling IT solutions at competitor VARs or consultancy organizations.
  • Ability to think strategically and solve problems effectively.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to senior executives.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and forecasting accurately.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with cloud solutions and cybersecurity services.
  • Familiarity with TRAXX E-procurement system.
