About the position

The Enterprise Account Executive at Ziply Fiber is responsible for selling telecommunications and network connectivity services while building and managing relationships with strategic enterprise business accounts. This role focuses on understanding clients' business needs and providing tailored solutions, with an emphasis on selling Fiber Optic telecom products. The position requires a proactive approach to prospecting and maintaining a consistent sales pipeline, contributing to the company's mission of delivering high-quality internet services to underserved communities in the Northwest.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain enduring relationships with clients as their trusted adviser at all levels of the organization.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of clients' business and technical challenges, operating environment, capabilities, and goals to develop the right solution to meet their needs.
  • Prospect, cold call, and sell Fiber Optic telecom products.
  • Sell all Fiber Optic Voice and Data solutions.
  • Build and maintain a consistent sales funnel and pipeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years' experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through closing.
  • Experience developing and maintaining business, sales, & account plans as well as negotiating & closing complex deals.
  • Experience selling into a variety of industries and territories as well as experience cultivating larger, strategic relationships.
  • Demonstrated business to business telecom sales record at a high level of achievement.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to work on cross-functional projects and teams.
  • Ability to leverage internal resources to problem-solve.
  • Must have reliable transportation and are willing to travel as needed.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
