About the position

As an Enterprise Account Executive at ESA, you will play a crucial role in supporting large organizations in their journey towards carbon neutrality. This position involves consultative selling, where you will analyze emissions and develop multi-year strategies for carbon reduction. You will collaborate with various teams to provide scalable solar solutions and manage the entire sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and client onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a decarbonization consultant, supporting customers' journey to net zero through solar power purchase agreements.
  • Collaborate with analyst and data teams to conduct portfolio analysis for decarbonization solutions.
  • Manage development team in creating initial solar designs and energy analysis.
  • Coordinate with customer representatives to obtain emissions data and utility information.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of corporate accounts that meet ideal customer profile requirements.
  • Conduct outbound contact to self-source approximately 25% of the pipeline.
  • Negotiate power purchase agreements and manage legal teams to meet target close dates.
  • Present final project approvals to investment committee and close contracts with clients.
  • Support operations teams in client onboarding and relationship management.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in professional consulting or business development focused on enterprise-level accounts.
  • 2-3 years of success negotiating power purchase agreements.
  • Proven success in exceeding sales quotas in B2B environments.
  • General understanding of carbon accounting principles and corporate decarbonization strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, environmental science, or a related field is preferred.
