About the position

The Account Executive, Enterprise at Alteryx is responsible for driving analytic-led digital transformation for customers and high-potential prospects. This role involves engaging with C-suite and executive-level stakeholders, managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, and establishing Alteryx as the preferred analytics platform. The position emphasizes building trusted advisor relationships and driving adoption across various business functions.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new business across multiple functional areas within the company, leveraging leads provided by marketing and maintaining appropriate pipeline coverage.
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline by assessing new sales potential and moving multiple transactions through the sales pipeline simultaneously.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the customer's processes and problems, ensuring the right questions are asked and answered.
  • Develop relationships with multiple buying personas within the prospect account to bring unique value to every interaction.
  • Connect prospect's business objectives with Alteryx solutions using a customer-centric approach.
  • Define and execute account/territory plans to meet and exceed sales goals through effective prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities.
  • Develop and actively manage interactions within the customer buying cycle, handling various sales scenarios and negotiating towards a close.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with resources throughout the sales cycle, including product support and sales engineering.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with a working knowledge of all Alteryx products and solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of quota-carrying sales experience, including prospecting and managing complex sales cycles in a technology/software/SaaS company.
  • Experience in identifying and closing high-velocity sales wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles for multi-year agreements.
  • Demonstrable track record in generating new logo accounts and growing sales volume within existing customers.
  • Exceptional ability to create and foster relationships with enterprise C-suite executives and build consensus among the buying team.
  • Strong knowledge of the data-analytics industry and competitor products.
