About the position

The Enterprise Account Executive at Converge Technology Solutions is a full-time, permanent role focused on uncovering and winning new business opportunities while supporting and growing existing accounts. The position involves cross-selling a variety of hardware, software, cloud, and professional services, and requires strong sales and customer service skills to effectively engage with clients and drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Execute sales strategy by identifying and qualifying customer needs and positioning appropriate solutions.
  • Increase sales and market share through marketing, face-to-face meetings, and vendor networking.
  • Understand customers' pain points and needs, creating strong relationships to drive sales and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the sales support team to ensure accurate quotes and order processing.
  • Work with the engineering team to scope projects accurately and propose the best solutions.
  • Maintain relationships with executive-level customer contacts in IT and business line ownership.
  • Develop proposals and prepare sales information for customers.
  • Participate in ongoing sales training to improve performance and stay updated on emerging technologies.
  • Contribute to company efforts to enhance the quality of the sales organization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technology sales experience and industry knowledge.
  • Experience selling technology vendors such as Dell, IBM, HPE, Cisco, Microsoft, Nvidia, Crowdstrike, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Zscaler, Forcepoint.
  • Experience selling technology services including cloud support, managed services, storage, network infrastructure, AI, integrations, migrations, cybersecurity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SFDC (Salesforce) for sales administration activities.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies in the IT sector.
