About the position

Astound Broadband is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive sales to enterprise-level commercial customers, focusing on internet and telephone services. This role involves identifying new sales opportunities, understanding customer needs, preparing proposals, and closing deals, all while ensuring customer satisfaction and managing installation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive sales activities, including cold-calling and knocking on doors.
  • Perform needs assessments and develop applications for customer proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts with telecommunications decision makers to achieve revenue growth and retention.
  • Manage installation projects to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to customer requests for information, support, and pricing.
  • Support the sales/service team to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience selling B2B in a technology environment.
  • Demonstrated success in telecommunications and internet sales to end-user customers.
  • Ability to sell to C-level executives within an organization.
  • Experience in systems selling and consultative sales techniques.
  • Technical skills related to network and transmission design.
  • Product knowledge of switched and dedicated services.
  • Operational understanding of telecommunications ordering and billing processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2-4 year College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
