About the position

The Enterprise Account Executive at Converge Technology Solutions is a full-time, permanent role focused on uncovering and winning new business opportunities while supporting and growing existing accounts. The position involves cross-selling a variety of hardware, software, cloud, and professional services, along with performing essential sales administrative tasks such as using Salesforce, managing forecasts, and preparing proposals. The role is critical to Converge's growth strategy as the company expands its market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Execute sales strategy by identifying and qualifying customer needs and positioning appropriate solutions.
  • Increase sales and market share through marketing, face-to-face meetings, and vendor networking.
  • Understand customers' pain points and needs to drive sales and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the sales support team to ensure accurate quotes and order processing.
  • Work with the engineering team to scope projects accurately and propose the best solutions.
  • Maintain relationships with customer contacts, focusing on Executive level relationships within IT and business line owners.
  • Develop proposals and prepare sales information for customers.
  • Participate in ongoing sales training to improve skills and maintain certifications.
  • Contribute to company efforts to enhance the quality of the sales organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technology sales experience and industry knowledge.
  • Experience selling technology vendors such as Dell, IBM, HPE, Cisco, Microsoft, Nvidia, Crowdstrike, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Zscaler, Forcepoint, etc.
  • Experience selling technology services including cloud support, managed services, storage, network infrastructure, artificial intelligence, integrations, migrations, full-cycle implementations, and cybersecurity.
  • Ability to build executive relationships in the technology sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate appropriately.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
