About the position

The Enterprise Account Executive at Comcast Corporation is responsible for selling commercial Internet, Video, and Voice services to mid-size and large businesses. This role involves driving sales through prospecting activities, building relationships with clients, and delivering presentations that showcase Comcast's offerings. The position requires a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to effectively position Comcast's services in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations demonstrating knowledge of Comcast products and services.
  • Exceed departmental financial and unit targets through effective sales strategies.
  • Stay informed about the competitive landscape and emerging technologies.
  • Develop and cultivate a sales territory, including local partnerships and affiliations.
  • Generate new leads through prospecting activities such as cold calling and customer referrals.
  • Promote and position the Comcast brand within the designated territory.
  • Retain customer base by ensuring a superior customer experience and delivering on the Comcast Credo.
  • Maintain and build customer relationships to drive retention and satisfaction.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and service levels meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and prepare required sales and activity reports.
  • Attend out-of-office meetings with customers regularly and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • In-depth experience and knowledge in sales and telecommunications.
  • Ability to design and deliver effective sales presentations.
  • Strong understanding of Network Design and various technologies including VoIP and Data Networking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise judgment in significant matters.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Familiarity with E-rate Contracting Processes and Procedures.
