About the position

The Enterprise Account Executive at Gartner is responsible for driving new business opportunities and selling sponsorships for Evanta's conference portfolios. This role involves building relationships with C-level executives and ensuring a predictable sales pipeline to meet quotas. The position requires strategic thinking and collaboration with internal teams to close multi-market account opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and secure net new business through sponsorship sales.
  • Build and maintain a predictable sales pipeline to ensure quota attainment.
  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with internal sales teams.
  • Identify key decision makers to influence and determine client priorities.
  • Travel monthly to meet on-site with prospects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of business-to-business sales experience, preferably in information technology.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Proven ability to understand enterprise-wide issues and structure innovative solutions.
  • Knowledge of issues faced by C-level heads of Sales and Marketing.
  • Good understanding of business buying-centers.
  • Solid industry-specific and account knowledge.
  • Ability to travel to Evanta programs, client meetings, and competitive conferences.
